The Nuvi 7x0 can access up to six different mapsets (*one* on the SD Card). These mapsets all reside in the x:/Garmin folder on both the Nuvi drive and the SD Card drive. You can have various mapsets loaded on your Nuvi.not just the basemap and detail map.

This is the most comprehensive list of acceptable map names I can find. A supplemental map is basically any map other than the factory installed maps. Understanding the file naming conventions used by Garmin is very useful if you intend to use multiple supplemental maps on your device.
